The 100 acre Oak savannah is in the lower central portion of the aerial photo.

The Savannah is maintained by cattle and horse grazing.
You can see the Oak Savannah by walking down the closed Booth Kelly Logging Road.
Directions are below.
To get to Jasper, OR:
Jasper is 15 miles southeast of Eugene.
It takes about 25 minutes to get to Jasper from Eugene.
>From South Eugene:
Take I-5 to the Oakridge Exit, Rt 58.
Go through Pleasant Hill, past the schools and turn left at the flashing
yellow light: Signs say Parkway Rd. Jasper 3mi.
Cross over the bridge and at the stop sign turn left onto Jasper/Lowell Road.
Go 100 yds and turn right onto Wallace Creek Rd.
Go 1 mi up Wallace Creek and turn right at the first cross road, Weyerhauser Logging Road, aka Booth Kelly Rd.
Go 0.5 mi up this road to the gate. Park here and walk southeast for about another 0.25 mi to 1.0. The Oak savannah is all to the south.
>From the North,
Take I-105/Rt 126 east to the McKenzie Highway.
Continue thru the first traffic signa at 51st St..
At the next light, stay in the right hand lane and turn left (east) onto Rt 126 (Main St),
At the first light, just beyond the Texaco, turn right onto 58th Street. At the stop sign at the Mt Vernon Cemetary, bear right without stopping.
Cross the railroad tracks and at the stop sign turn left onto Jasper/Lowell Road
Go 2.6 mi on Jasper Road. Slow down when you see the road sign denoting an Oregon State Park.
Turn left onto Wallace Creek Rd. If you pass the Jasper Store, you've gone 200 yds too far..
Go 1 mi up Wallace Creek and turn right at the first cross road, Weyerhauser Logging Road, aka Booth Kelly Rd..
Go 0.5 mi up this road to the yellow gate. Park here and walk southeast for about another 0.25 mi to 1.0. The Oak savannah is all to the south.
