Amy was born in Creswell, Oregon, whelped by breeder Shannon Sheldon, Amy is from working German Shepherd lines. Her sire is Boris V Lelbacher Hexenteich Sch3, FH, W.P.O., A.D., T.D. and dam Pashka V Grunheide Sch3. Boris is a Wicko V Meran son and Paskha is a daughter of Gringo V Deufringer Schloss, SchH3, IPO3, FH2. This breeding was the result of using frozen semen.
At 7 weeks old Amy punctures ping-pong balls, likes to chase tennis balls and carry them around, and when confronted with a mechanical toy dog grabbed it by the head with a full firm grip and carried it as it continued making barking noises and movements; and of course, the tail tells a tale......
At 4 months of age Amy is tracking, doing motivational sits-downs-recalls, article searches and downing as an indication,
retrieving sticks-balls-dumbbells, swimming, and is generally a hellion.

On November 3, 2007 Amy entered the Twin County Schutzhund Club trial in Yelm, Wa. and received her SchH1 title with 92SG tracking, 96V obedience, and 80 points in protection after way too many "out" commands.( Did she have Fun)

On April 19, 2009 Amy entered the Cascade Schutzhund Club DVG trial in Tumwater, Wa. and received her SchH2 title with 80 tracking, 79 obedience, and 95SG protection. With too much energy and not enough concentration she was able to complete the tracking phase, circling several times on the second leg before settling and finding the second corner and last leg of the track.(wasn't sure we were going to make it????) Obedience would have been better except she decide to stand not sit, and returned with the dumbbell thrown over the jump by coming back over the wall. ( never did that before) But she excelled in protection even though she missed searching one blind so all the other stuff was forgotten; great day.
On August 15/16, 2009 Amy enters the Pacfic Northwest Regional Championship in Rochester, Wa. where her first track was laid to close to another track so a second track was laid later in the day and she received 85 points with too much enthusiasm and circling again. Obedience was very well done and she received 91 points and highest obedience score in the trial. But protection was another story with two commands to out on the escape and too many out commands on the long courage test when the helper was unable to lock-up. So she was DQ'd for no out and received no scoring.
On September 26, 2009 Amy entered the Willamette Valley club trial in Woodburn, Or. and received another SchH2 title with 90 points tracking but again some circling; she can do better. Obedience was very well done with 95 points high in trial and protection was 88 points high in trial. Unfortunately she did not grip hard on the courage test and slid off the bite on the catch & spin but came directly back into the helper
for another grip and a clean out with guarding & barking. Total score was 273 points High in Trial. On to SchH3 ..........

On May 8, 2010 Amy entered the Cascade Schutzhund club trial in Tumwater, Wa. and received her first SchH3 title with 93SG tracking, 96V obedience, and 81 protection for a total of 270SG. She had a little problem on the escape grip, bit the helper in the butt, then back, and finally got the sleeve.
